The major obstacle facing Ama Wheelies is the lack of finance and capital; however, the challenge is to find the capita led to Ama Wheelies get farming and business ventures going creating work opportunities and slowly creating an income! How You Can Contribute

Appliances Needed

  • Fridges (our fridge is quite old and the rubber seals are perishing);
  • Freezer (help store goods for our parcel distribution program);
  • Tumble Dryer;
  • Radio/Hi-Fi;
  • TV, Accessories, Speakers, DVD Player, Decoder and Tape Recorder;
  • Small Heater (Electric/Gas);
  • Cleaning Equipment.

Gardening Tools and Equipment Needed

  • Lawnmower;
  • Edge Trimmer;
  • Spade, Pick, Garden Fork, Rake and Wheelbarrow;
  • Workshop Grinder, Welder, and Saw;
  • Compressor (for pumping the wheelchair wheels).

Office Equipment Needed

  • Desktop Computer/Laptop;
  • Printer;
  • Cabinets;
  • First Aid Box;
  • Stationery.

Alternative Energy Program (Solar)

Batteries, solar panels, solar windmill, and electrical attachments to conserve high electricity costs.

Outreach Program

  • Food Vouchers;
  • Tinned and Sealed Food;
  • Old Clothes and Blankets;
  • Diesel Sponsorship;
  • Medical Suppliers (nappies, linen savers, gloves, antiseptic detergents, plasters, and cleaning equipment).

Vehicles

  • Transport desperately needed (could you donate an old fleet vehicle?)

Financial Help Needed

None of the above would be possible without money. Disaster means our people are left with nothing, sickly and not able to work - please help. We request your help and our motto is every R50.00 helps. Individually, you may not be able to give much more, but your employer could and herewith our banking information: Nedbank, Current Account, Account Number 193-005-2944, Primrose Branch 193042. All donations will be acknowledged with a receipt.

Not only is our cause worthy: we are situated in RURAL Mpumalanga, serving DISADVANTAGED poor and DISABLED individuals enabling any donor to qualify for BEE and tax rebate. Our paperwork and recordkeeping is in order.
