Ama Wheelies Socio Involvement Projects:

· Providing Disabled individuals with FREE Personalized e-mail, Fax-to-Email addresses along with the assistance to access Skype enabling free phone calls, destination finder and Free Anti-Virus. – see last page devoted to helping any Disabled individual, any-where needing help with their PC or access to the ‘net’! (As specified.)

· Community Service’ in conjunction with the Department of Correctional Services where wrongdoers are brought to Ama Wheelies to spend time doing Community service instead of going to prison.

· School Visits where Ama Wheelies residents go to various schools within Thabachweu Municipality making speeches particularly to grade4 students emphasizing the need to buckle up and not drink and drive, whilst answering any questions enabling youngsters to better understand disabled people within the society.

· Hospital visits to new Quads in various hospitals providing hope and guidance on how to cope with the disability.

· HIV-Aids counseling trained, armed and forewarned residents give counsel and provide assistance.

· Care-Giver Trainer & Development program assisting any Quadriplegics caregiver or family member taking care of such Quad.

There are a host of other projects we plan on getting involved with such as with Wits (Jhb) University at finding a cure to spinal injury and until such time that a cure is found, we will keep searching and helping where we can.
